Health officials revealed that monkeypox has now been identified in all 50 states.

The Wyoming Department of Health reported a case in an adult male in Laramie County, including Cheyenne's capital.

General health agents are now working with the positive individual to determine whether additional occupants are at a higher risk of getting monkeypox due to expected direct contact.

Beginning with the first case being declared in a Massachusetts patient in mid-May, the country has had more than 14,100 infections as of Monday, CDC data shows.

Over the past month, the daily number of declared cases has increased dramatically, from 97 in every initial month, to more than 1,300 daily as of August 10, according to the Government Health Office.

CDC information shows that New York currently has the most contamination with more than 2,700, separate from California, Florida, Texas and Georgia.

As of August 9, according to HHS, more than 620,000 vaccination doses have been purchased, and an additional 1.1 million may be arranged.
